You can stream live polls on the speaker’s screen, a media wall, etc. This allows to observe live results and start polls right during the sessions. To launch a poll on a big screen, you would just need to open a link in a browser.

! Note: to stream polls, you will need up-to-date version of Google Chrome browser.

You can get the link for streaming by doing the following:

  1. Click on the poll you would like to stream, go to ‘Settings’ tab, find Media Wall section and click ‘Get’:

  1. Check parameters and click ‘Copy’

  1. Open the link in the browser.

Display parameters

Diagram type

This option sets the appearance of the poll’s answer options — either in the form of a horizontal histogram or a circle histogram. You can check out the difference below:

Horizontal histogram:

Circle histogram:

Circle histogram type works best for up to 3 answer options.

Note: If you choose circle histogram for polls with over 3 answer options, only the first three options will be displayed on the screen.

So, the default setting here is Auto: it works as a circle histogram for up to 3 answer options and as a horizontal histogram for more than 3 options.

Survey display mode

You can choose whether to show live results or keep the winner a secret until the poll is over.

Also you can decide whether to show or hide the number of voters and their avatars.

Starting and stopping polls from the big screen

Depending on how the polls started, you can manage the launch not only from the admin panel, but from the big screen, too:

  • Always available polls can only display real-time results on screen: attendees will be able to see how results change over time;
  • Polls with manual start and scheduled start can be both started and stopped from screen.

To start a poll, click the play button:

To stop a poll, click anywhere on the screen (a stop button will appear at the bottom of the screen) and click the stop button:
